The venue has particularly good location near the pond where I would of expected people to do. It's not far from surrounding areas of the retreat well kept, and two pubs serving excellent food.

The hotel offers spacious family-friendly accommodations that are perfect for all our explorations but the cleaning could use some improvement as we found a few cobwebs and unclean utensils.

good hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, peaceful location
The cleanliness left much to be desired!!! The lack of a welcome pack felt cheap and impersonal!!! Additional fees for early check-in and late check-out seemed unreasonable for the service level provided!!! Those laundry rules are a hassle!!!

Oh, those buttery croissants from the local bakery were a game-changer! And the hot tub? Pure bliss after a day of rambling in the Dales! Loved the location, right in the heart of Masham, with quaint villages around every corner.
Now, about the cleaning, I had to scrub more than I care to admit. Cobwebs in the corners and a stained washing up bowl weren't ideal. The blackout curtains barely covered the windows, leading to a few sleepless nights thanks to those pesky outside lights.

We explored the fine walks in the Yorkshire Dales and enjoyed fly-fishing at West Tanfield. The adventure parks nearby like Lightwater Valley were a blast. The whole retreat offers a chill vibe with tons of activities.
We found the Wi-Fi to be pretty weak, tough to stay connected with everyone.
